We’re moving…and we’re thrilled to share our great news! While our 2,000 square foot space at Cascadia’s Garlington Center has served us well since 2009, we now need something bigger for our expanding patient population and staff. Over the past year we pounded the pavement looking at possible new homes for the clinic. We also talked a lot with patients and community members about what they wanted in a new space. What we heard over and over again was, “Please stay in the neighborhood! This is where you are most needed.” We’re delighted to announce that we will be staying. Later this year (August/September) we’ll be moving into a newly renovated building at 714 NE Alberta Street. The 3,200 square foot building has more space for patient care, room for trainings and gatherings, plenty of office space for our staff, and off-street parking. A $300,000 Community Livability Grant from the Portland Development Commission will allow us to make all the necessary improvements to turn this building into a first-class health center. Stay tuned for more details about the move and how we’ll be celebrating our new space later this year!
