Angels in Our Midst
Gail Meyer of the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians was so inspired by the story of North by Northeast that she designed a new column for the monthly Family Physicians of Oregon magazine: Angels in Our Midst. The inaugural column appears in the May issue of the magazine and features Oregon family physicians Louise Clark, Jill Ginsberg and Karin Jacobson.
Insuring Poor Health
An article by Nikole Hannah-Jones in the March 15th Oregonian describes the dilemma people find themselves in when they are unable to find work because of health problems, but unable to get help for these problems because of lack of insurance. Nikole became interested in this dilemma after hearing about it from Dr. Ginsberg, and the article features the story of one of the patients at North by Northeast.

A February 24 article on the Angels in Medicine website features Dr. Jill Ginsberg and tells the story of North by Northeast. Angels in Medicine features physicians, nurses, physician assistants and other healthcare workers who reach people without the resources or opportunities for quality care, such as teens, the poor, the incarcerated, the elderly, or those living in third-world or war-torn regions.
