Our Garden is Overflowing!
It's produce season at North by Northeast! Our garden is overflowing with greens, lettuce, peas, beets, carrots, and berries. We're serious about controlling high blood pressure with medication but we REALLY love giving out vegetables to our patients when they come for a visit! President Obama and Cover Oregon Recognize North by Northeast’s Enrollment Success
Cover Oregon recently highlighted the great work North by Northeast has been doing getting our patients and community members enrolled in health coverage over the past five months. We've reached out by phone and mail to all of our patients, encouraging them to come in and get enrolled, as well as offered appointments for Cover Oregon enrollment assistance to community members and new patients. It was only eight years ago, but it seems like forever. The vision for the North by Northeast Community Health Center was coming into focus. There were thousands without health insurance who needed basic care for hypertension and diabetes.
