As the co-chairs of North by Northeast’s Board of Directors, we are excited to launch the countdown to our 10 year anniversary this August! As we remember our beginnings and look to the future, we have much to be grateful for and plenty of energy for the work ahead. We were founded in 2005 after a chance meeting related to relief for Hurricane Katrina survivors. Cuts & Checks Launch!
On April 4 we officially launched our Cuts & Checks program with a kickoff celebration at Champions Barbershop! Our Board is Growing!
In the past six months we’ve welcomed five new members to our Board of Directors. Each brings a unique set of skills, experience and perspective; they all bring a passion for health equity and a love of North by Northeast.
