Tiara Simpson joined the North by Northeast family as our Medical Assistant in July 2016. Since 2010 Tiara has served as an Army Medic in the National Guard, where she performs blood draws and immunizations for Oregon’s National Guard soldiers as part of their physical health assessments. A longtime NxNE patient and retired London firefighter, Pete came for a visit and described some worrisome symptoms to Dr. Michele Babaie – fainting one night before bed, lightheadedness and stomach upset. We did it. All of us! At the end of 2015 we were looking back with pride over our accomplishments that year, but we were also getting desperate in our search for a new space. Cascade was moving forward with their plans for redeveloping the Garlington Center property, and our lease had an end date of August 31, 2016. 10 Years!
Ten years ago - on August 17, 2006 - we cut the ribbon and opened the doors to our first patients on N Williams Ave. Our community has poured its support, love and resources into our efforts for the past ten years!
